Advo People donate their time for Heart of Kent Hospice

Advo continues to support the Heart of Kent Hospice. In 2026 focus shifted from not just donating money and participating in events such as the upcoming Bluebell Walk, but donating time too.

One of Advo’s Charity Committee members, Jess Hall met with the Hospice to determine how we may best help. Their patient rooms (and indeed lots of the Hospice) are all in need of a refresh and a lick of paint, so we started there.

This month Advo people donated their time to put their hands, not their brains, to work, painting parts of the Hospice.

You might recognise some familiar faces. Advo’s HR, Payroll and IT specialists in a different role!

Day 1: Matt, Jess and Sam get stuck in!

Day 2: Dan, Karly, Andy & Kevin take over…

Part of the Advo Staff benefits is worktime away to support the local community.

Kevin, our IT Director commented “We had fun yesterday, although I think we put more paint on the floor than the walls!”

Advo continues to raise money through numerous events including the annual Cobdown Country Fair & Sports Day and taking part in HOKH’s own events including the upcoming Bluebell walk.

We are also supporting HOKH’s own events, their Bluebell Walk, which we are calling… Bluebells, Blisters & a Brilliant Cause

On May 3rd, Advo’s Jell Hall, Sam Brown, Kevin Crew, and his wife, Jean, will be undertaking our most recent challenge. This isn’t just any walk!! It’s a six-mile ramble through the scenic North Downs, complete with stunning bluebells.

If you would like to support the Advo Bluebells, Blisters & a Brilliant Cause Challenge our Charity page is HERE.
