2025 was a successful year for Advo. With the acquisitions of Mustard Payroll and Paynex successfully integrated into Advo people and systems and with organic growth Advo now looks after 283 more organisations as we end this year.
In addition, our HR team worked on 41 ‘ad hoc’ projects supporting our clients with complex legal and people challenges. Our HR teams also ran a series of training courses for both client managers and staff covering off legalisation changes. The most successful the training supporting clients through new legislation around employer’s new duty to Prevent Workplace Sexual Harassment (more here).
We reorganised, expanded and strengthened our teams. We have a great structure with excellently trained and professional people which aids our further expansion plans as we move into 2026.
Other milestones included the introduction of our Advo Behaviours for staff to better understand our culture, something important to us given the numbers of new team members. Our staff were outstanding with the work done to support the Heart of Kent Hospice, not only money raised running into the thousands, but practical support too.

Additional services that became available included our online Absence Management System (AMS) became available for all clients, for our payroll clients this is an excellent extension to the existing staff portal where payslips are downloaded. (You can read more here).
Our social media expanded reaching into thousands of contacts and our strategic partnerships increased, most recent being our appointment as payroll partner for TAG Community of accountants (The Accountancy Group).
Work on our Head Office continued throughout 2025 with all the internal and external infrastructure work completed. We are on track to complete all the work mid-2026.
Overall Advo’s 2025 was a year of reorganisation and consolidation, ultimately a successful year. We move into 2026 with strong financial and structural foundations for what we believe will be Advo’s most successful year since we launched in 1997.
